Applications are
invited from Male Married/Unmarried Engineering Graduates from recognised
University including temporary Central/State Govt. servants, serving personnel
of the regular Army and Territorial Army (including officers of Territorial
Army) and serving personnel of Navy and Air Force for grant of permanent
commission in the Indian Army.

Criteria:
Candidates who wish to
apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria:
For
Engineers : BE/ BTech in the above Discipline ,
Candidates studying in the Final Year of Engineering Degree and who are
qualified graduates of the Degree Course in Engineering Engineering will be
eligible to apply.
For
Army Education Corps : MA/ M.Sc Degree in 1st or 2nd
division in English/ Economics/ History/ Music/ Geography/ Political Science/
Physics/ Maths .
For
Military Farm : A Degree in dairying or a degree in
Agriculture from a recognized university with dairying as one of the subjects
or an equivalent foreign qualification in Agriculture.
Age
Limit(in yrs): Interested candidates who are appearing
for this post should have the age of 20-27 years.

Shortlisted candidates
will be called for SSB interviews which is going to be held at Allahabad,
Bhopal, Bangalore.The candidates qualified in first stage will be allowed to
appear for the second stage followed by medical examination also.

The Indian Army is the
land based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces. The
Indian Army came into being when India gained independence in 1947, and
inherited most of the infrastructure of the British Indian Army that were
located in post-partition India. Since independence, the army has been involved
in four wars with neighbouring Pakistan and one with the People’s Republic of
China. Other major operations undertaken by the army include Operation Vijay,
Operation Meghdoot and Operation Cactus. Apart from conflicts, the army has
also been an active participant in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

Candidates applying
Online, after submission of application take two copies of the application
printout and the Roll No. generated by the system. One copy should be mailed
duly signed with a self attested photograph and attested copies of 10th class,
12th class certificates and Degree/ Provisional Degree of BE/ B.Tech or mark
sheets of first six semesters of BE/ B.Tech to Additional Directorate General
of Recruiting (Rtg-6), TGC Section, West Block-3, R.K Puram, New Delhi-110066
and super scribe the envelope with “Online Application TGC-117 and the Roll
No…………”.
